As a graduate student, it is very important to follow the latest development in your field, know the people, appropriate the thinking/research frameworks essential to the field, and engage in focused, academic thinking. For this purpose, I think everybody should browse the titles and abstracts of articles published in every issue of five or so major journals, and dig into some of them that are closely related to your focus. Depending on your specific interest, here are some journals I'd highly recommend. You may register for new issue alerts through their websites.
